Babllo City

The project began construction in the Babblo mountain area in Duhok governorate, Kurdistan Region of Iraq in 2008. The project is currently about 80% complete. It is built on a giant field of 2,000,000 m2 (two million square meters). It is the first and only one of its kind in the area. At the same time, it is Iraq's largest social life project. Its primary goal is to establish resorts for people to get away from the crowds and noises of the city to a natural area with a pleasant landscape. This project is excellently designed so that it promotes healthy living in a non-polluting environment, it contains large areas of green spaces with various amenities to serve people also four artificial lakes which are designed by local people who are familiar with the area so that it meets their needs as well as their comfort and well-being. Additionally, to the natural areas, there are recreational facilities to serve tourists around the country, which about 300 private villas, ski lifts with a track moving at 300 meters high and 1200 meters high, restaurants, hotels, motels, and hiking areas.
